Concept & Purpose

The “Choc des Légendes” is a festival of Eloquence, Arts and Cultures in the form of a mock criminal trial (Prosecution, Defense, witnesses, Grand jury) that brings together exceptional personalities from diverse backgrounds, such as Heads of state, CEOs, Ministers, Ambassadors, entrepreneurs, scientists, lawyers, MPs, institutions, artists, media, etc., to reflect on the existential questions of our world, facilitates high level business opportunities and to uplift the human spirit.

The last edition of the “Choc des Légendes”, the “Trial of Progress”, took place at the French National Assembly in Paris, under the High Patronage of the President of the French Assembly and in the presence of H.Exc. Nana AKUFO-ADDO, who chaired the Grand Jury composed of various eminent personalities.

For the Praise of Women edition, the Grand Jury will be chaired by the First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, H.Exc. Rebecca AKUFO-ADDO.
